Ingredient Spotlight: DIM

Ingredient Spotlight: DIM

Are you using supplements that ramp up testosterone? Then you will undoubtedly experience an unwanted increase in estrogen production. Not to mention, if you’re following a PCT program, you are most likely facing the same situation. In either case, DIM can help. In this edition of Ingredient Spotlight, we’ll take a closer look at DIM, how it can help you, and see what 5% supplements it’s in.

What Is DIM?

DIM, or Diindolylmethane, comes from cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale, cabbage,  and brussels sprouts. When you consume this type of vegetable, stomach acid breaks down a phytochemical called indole-3-carbinol. This is the compound that produces DIM.(1)

Benefits

DIM is an important addition to any supplement program that includes testosterone boosters, prohormones, and more aggressive supplements.  That’s because DIM regulates estrogen levels by helping to block the conversion of excess testosterone into estrogen. Also, DIM helps lower the negative side effects of excess estrogen. One of these side effects is fat gain, especially in the waist and hips. Others include negative mood changes, fatigue, sleep problems, and gynecomastia (in men).(2)

Find DIM In These 5% Nutrition Products

While it’s true that you can get DIM from cruciferous vegetables, you would have to consume quite a few servings to get a reasonable amount. That means a supplement may make more sense.

Core DIM

This is, of course, one of our innovative Core Series products. Unlike the competition’s “Core” products, 5% Nutrition had the insight to pair a primary ingredient with 1 or more supporting ingredients. This elevates the effectiveness of the formula. In the case of our outstanding Core DIM, we’ve paired 325 mg of DIM with Calcium D-Glucarate, which supports DIM's estrogen-controlling effects. But that’s not all! There’s also Organic Broccoli Powder and Black Pepper Extract for optimal absorption.

Core D-Aspartic Acid

This Core product supports testosterone production. For that reason, including DIM was a no-brainer. Core D-Aspartic Acid can be used alone or stacked with TEST Test Booster and Core ZMA for maximum test boosting power!

TEST Test Booster

Here’s our exceptional testosterone-boosting formula. You will find DIM (300 mg) among the potent test-enhancing ingredients. These include Longjack Extract, PrimaVie® Purified Shilajit, and Fenugreek Extract. There’s also Boron and Black Pepper Extract to enhance absorption.

Post Gear

Have you just finished your cycle? Then you need a powerful PCT formula to help bring your hormones back into balance. Enter Post Gear! This exceptional PCT formula features an Estrogen Control Complex with 300 mg of DIM. But that’s only the beginning - there’s also a Testosterone Boosting Complex, a Liver Support Complex, the nutrients that make up ZMA, plus Vitamin D and E. Finally, there’s AstraGin® for ultimate absorption.

Recap

As you can see, 5% Nutrition has products for every need. In the case of DIM, it’s in quite a few products. That means your estrogen-regulation concerns are covered! So don’t wait, stop by and stock up today!
